Teachers, Parents March to 'Occupy LAUSD' (VIDEO)

A crowd of several hundred people demonstrate outside LAUSD headquarters Tuesday.

Starting at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continuing into early Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles School Police Department evicted protestors camped out in front of the Los Angeles Unified School District headquarters on Beaudry Avenue and moved them to the corners of 3rd Street and Beaudry and 4th Street and Beaudry, according to City News Service.

LAUSD Superintendent John Deasy, who delivered a stunning speech about the school district's myriad challenges at Occidental College last month, said Tuesday it was an "insult" that the protesters, who began their march from the site of the Occupy L.A. demonstrations outside City Hall, linked the district's financial woes with "policies and institutions that have systematically hurt the poor and middle class,'' CNS said.
