E.T.Y. Spare Parts has been winning over customers since 1980.
E.T.Y. Parts Imports Inc. has been at the forefront of the Eagle Rock business landscape since 1980. Anyone who knows anything about cars in Northeast L.A.—and beyond—likely knows about E.T.Y., which is located on the southeast corner of Colorado Boulevard and Eagle Rock Boulevard.
With more than 22,000 auto spare parts in their store and decades of experience in the European and Asian car markets, E.T.Y. knows a thing or two about the trade. As the company proudly declares on its website: "If it is not German or Japanese we will tell you." Subtext: We don't deal in knock-offs.
Allen Yap runs E.T.Y. with the help of his father Keith who started the business from the back of a pick-up truck in neighboring Glendale. What began as a move to stay close to home and original clients in Glendale has developed into a long-term relationship with Eagle Rock and its residents.
Indeed, E.T.Y. has become the go-to place for car enthusiasts from all over Southern California. In 2005, E.T.Y. won the "Small Business of the Year Award" for Los Angeles Assembly District 44., a considerable distinction, given that just one business is chosen for this honor annually.
