Happy Birthday Eagle Rock!
You are looking great for 100 years young.
As many Eagle Rockers may know, our lovely neighborhood is celebrating its Centennial, and many dedicated individuals and organizations have been observing this milestone throughout the year. (Check out the Eagle Rock 100th website and learn more about the Centennial events, particularly the grand Eagle Rock Centennial Gala, which will celebrate the end of this Centennial year on November 19.)
For my part, I felt that an occasion as momentous as Eagle Rock's Centennial deserved a special song. And so, without further ado, I present "I Like The Rock", an original song (and music video) in honor of our awesome neighborhood.
A special shout out to my songwriting partner on this musical love letter to The Rock—my incredibly talented nephew Matthew, a sophomore at Texas A&M (Gig 'em, Aggies!), without whom this tribute would not have been possible. Thanks Matthew—you rock!

How FUN is this!!! It was terrific! I enjoyed every minute, viewing the local scenes, and "tootle-ing" along through the town I love, and my family has loved for a long time. Thanks Linda for the kind words. Many Eagle Rockers share your/my love for the neighborhood. It was very much a personal love letter to Eagle Rock (which is why I shot it hand held).
