5 Things to Know Today: Football Fundraiser, Free Kids' Smoothie, Center for the Arts Benefit

1. ER Football Fundraiser

Support the Eagle Rock High School Varsity Football team by enjoying a delicious hot dog today from 6 p.m and 9 p.m. You'll be supporting a local business at the same time—and 20 percent of what you pay will go back to the team. 2. Free Jamba Juice Smoothie Day Tomorrow

Select Jamba Juice stores, including the one in Eagle Rock, will be offering free 9.5-ounce smoothies to kids eight years and younger tomorrow, Saturday. Up to four kids per party can avail of the offer—provided the kids are present of course. The idea is to provide kids with nutritious, delicious on-the-go choices this summer and make families aware of the Jamba Kids Meals. Jamba Juice, 5053 Eagle Rock Blvd., (323) 349-0670.

3. What else is happening in Eagle Rock tomorrow?

Leanna Lin's Wonderland is launching a new art show to benefit the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock. Titled Glitz & Pixie Stix, the show opens Saturday and features 18 artists.
