The Jamba Juice store on 5053 Eagle Rock Blvd. (323-349-0670) is offering any of its 16-ounce smoothies for $2 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. today and Friday. The offer, at all participating Jamba Juice stores, is part of the company's so-called $2 Days of Summer drive, which began this past Monday and ends Aug. 16.

2. Eagle Rock Land Use Issues

The Land Use Committee of the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council is scheduled to meet Thursday, Aug. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Arthur K. Snyder Community Room at Eagle Rock City Hall, 2035 Colorado Blvd. 

3. Thursday deadline to seek ERNC funding

All nonprofit groups or public schools seeking Neighborhood Purpose Grant funds from the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council must apply for them by the end of business today, Thursday. That's because according to new funding rules, Aug. 15. is the first of the ERNC's thrice-yearly deadlines. Applications will be considered and voted on at the ERNC's next meeting on Sept. 3.
