WHAT:

Simi Valley Hospital will offer a Community Health Lecture on Arthritis and Back Pain. Featuring Amit Gupta, DO, Simi Valley Hospital Anesthesiologist and pain management specialist to discuss steps you can take to manage arthritis and reduce the pain, how arthritis affects your joints and what you can do to intervene in the process. The opportunity will also be given to ask questions about arthritis and back pain.

 

WHY: Arthritis is an unwelcome but constant companion for many people. Stiffness in joints is hard enough to deal with, but the often excruciating pain that comes with arthritis can make even the basic tasks of daily life unpleasant-or even impossible.
