Challenge: Where in Eagle Rock Was This Photo Taken?

And what do you think is the story behind it?

Eagle Rock native Tim Ryder took this photograph of a wall painting in the neighborhood and wonders, like many of you undoubtedly must be, what it means to depict.

Exactly correct, Rachael and Gabrielle. I hear that the juice bar is going to open in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned.

Wow! Cool! And a Juice Bar? Like an alternative to Jamba Juice, except substantially healthier? :D

um... it's kind of hideous and over-embellished. It's great for you if you think it's nice, but when I'm driving down Colorado coming around that curve and this massive mural of a bloated child grabs my attention... 1 I'm gagging inside. 2 It's distracting enough to make me almost accidentally bump the car in front of me.

Jamba Juice was started as a project for a business class by a kid at UC Santa Cruz. The professor gave him a "D" on the project. My nephew attends UC Santa Cruz, home of the Banana Slugs.

I agree Jinx! The strange looking bloated boy should have been left out of this graffiti/mural. It's gaudy enough without adding more to it.
