Head over to for some confetti cupcake mix and red, white and blue frosting, plus some sugar crystal sprinkles. Follow the simple directions on the box to make your cupcakes. Let them cool, and add your frosting in the color of your choice. One trick is to first frost generously. Then pour your sprinkles on a plate or sheet of paper, again, generously. Now take your frosted cupcake and gently roll it atop the sprinkles until every last lick of frosting is covered. Voila! With the sugar crystal sprinkles overwhelming the cupcakes, you will have a truly beautiful creation, almost too pretty to eat. Top it off with a "mini flag" on a toothpick!

4. GRILLED CORN AND RED POTATO SALAD

With 10 potatoes, four ears of corn, some jalapeno, red onion, vinegar, oil, and Dijon mustard, there's no limit to what you can do. This simple recipe, straight from Rachel Ray, is ready in 35 minutes. Add some spice to your Fourth of July! Check out the full recipe here.

5. TASTY TUNA BURGERS

If you're not a big fan of red meat, think outside the bun with a "tasty tuna burger." Ready in 30 minutes, this recipe calls for the chef to mix tuna, egg, bread crumbs, onion, celery, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, hot chili sauce, chili sauce, dill, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce to create tuna patties to fry on the skillet. Read the step-by-step instructions here.
