Gay Rights, Pacifism: Flying a Variety of Flags
Antiwar activists press for gay and lesbian rights as well as health care.
June is the official "gay pride" month in Los Angeles—and these gay and lesbian activists chose Memorial Day, on the month's cusp, to rally against the war in Afghanistan as well as demand better health care for all. The day-long demonstration was held at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Eagle Rock Boulevard on May 30.
