Highland Park Family Offers $5,000 For Information on Woman who Allegedly Stole a Dog in Eagle Rock

The incident occurred last month at the Chevron gas station on Figueroa Street and Colorado Boulevard, according to a Craigslist ad.

A Highland Park family that says it lost a Pomeranian dog at the Chevron gas station on Figueroa Street and Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock last month is offering a $5,000 reward for information about a woman who allegedly stole the pooch.

“We are missing our family dog Firby!” writes the family in an ad posted Tuesday on Craigslist. “My 3 and 4 year old daughters are devastated beyond belief and my whole family cannot sleep! Please help.”

The alleged dog thief (see photo) appears to have “told security it was her dog while he was waiting for us at the gas station,” says ad on Craigslist, adding: “This occurred at the Chevron on Figueroa and Colorado in Eagle Rock. She could live in or work in this area.”
