The walk ends in an area of the Rose Bowl where scores of booths at a fair offer everything from toys and treats for your pets to bedding, clothing and veterinary services. Pet-oriented contests—sign up for your own from 7:30 to 10:45 a.m.—are one of the highlights of this annual event that draws hundreds of people. Don’t miss a demonstration by the Pasadena Police and Glendale Police K-9 Unit in which highly-trained German Shepherds showcase their talents and training.
