PHOTO: CicLAvia Jams Streets to Venice Beach

For the first time since it started in 2010, CicLAvia, the biannual event in which thousands of bicyclists, runners, skaters and walkers jam city streets free of vehicular traffic, traveled from downtown all the way to Venice Beach.
“To the Sea” was the theme of the sixth CicLAvia event—CicLAvia’s longest route so far, covering more than 15 miles and connecting the historic El Pueblo de Los Angeles with the ever-busy Venice Beach boardwalk.
