I wonder if it is haunted? On August 28, 1939, Mrs Hattie Benning, 76, of 1456 Holbrooke, (the home pictured above) was crossing the street at Colorado Blvd and El Modeno when she was struck by a car. She died a few days later at General Hospital. He body was sent to St Joseph, Michigan for burial. The same week, Adolf Hitler ordered the invasion of Poland, triggering the events that would lead to World War II

Its a nice little house. Sorry to see him leave Eagle Rock (if they are indeed leaving...) The attacks on him and this house on CurbedLa are unfortunate. If readers are so inclined head on over there and give our neighbor some internet love.

Thanks for sharing that historical sidelight, Joe. The house does seem secluded enough to be haunting if not haunted.
