Waiting For The Bus
Just six inches of shade cast by a lamppost is enough for this couple.
It's an everyday scene on Eagle Rock's two major boulevards—senior citizens waiting patiently for the bus. This couple, longtime immigrants from the Philippines, were pictured Wednesday afternoon on the northwest corner of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 45.
Editor's note: A previous version of this photo feature identified the couple in it as "Filipino." The husband and wife are in fact U.S. citizens who emigrated from the Philippines decades ago.
