Connecting With Eagle Rock at the Music Festival

The 13th Eagle Rock Music Festival on Saturday was a milestone for Eagle Rock Patch: It was the first time we covered the annual event—when last year’s festival was held, on October 2, 2010, Eagle Rock Patch was still a month away from its November 3 launch.

In fact, today, Monday, Eagle Rock Patch turns exactly 11 months old—and with the music festival just behind us, this seems like as good a moment as any to take stock of how far we’ve come in the Eagle Rock community.

Judging by the scores of festivalgoers who stopped by the Patch booth during the music festival, it seems fair to say that a lot more people know about Patch—and appreciate what it does—than might have been the case, say, six months ago.

We invited community members to pose for photographs at our booth and had the pleasure of hearing from many of them first hand what they like about the Eagle Rock Music Festival—it “puts Eagle Rock on the map,” to quote one resident—and what they love about Eagle Rock.
