A night of community networking and celebration at the Center for the Arts.

Eagle Rock's biggest night of the year—the 13th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival—kicked off Thursday, with a private party at the . Aimed at raising funds for the Oct. 1 music festival, which drew some 60,000 people in 2010, the party featured a silent auction that included a signed print by Shepard Fairey, the contemporary artist who created the iconic "Hope" image of President Obama. Scores of invitees and music festival sponsors, ranging from to Patch, mingled around late into the evening.
