This is the first annual LAPD Northeast Division carnival, offering a variety of rides for kids and plenty of food. It will be held in Eagle Rock, on Eagle Rock Boulevard, between Avenue 33 and Verdugo Road. It's a three-day event staring Friday, November 12 and ending Sunday, November 14. On Friday, the carnival starts at 5:00pm and ends at 11:00pm. On Saturday and Sunday it starts a 1:00pm and ends at 11:00pm.
You can purchase pre-sale tickets at 50 percent off at the LAPD Northeast Police Station, located on 3353 San Fernando Rd. Cash only—no checks or credit cards. The price of a ticket is $1. The payoff to purchasing tickets in advance is that a single ticket bought before November 12 entitles the holder to get on any ride. In contrast, while tickets bought on carnival weekend still cost $1 each, you will require two such tickets to get on a ride.
Call the LAPD Northeast Division at 213-485-2548 or 213-485-2563 if you have any questions.
