Last Chance: Take Home Some Great Art Sunday

The annual arts auction to raise funds for the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock, promises to be a crowd-puller—thanks to some great bargains.

The will holds its Annual Art Auction Benefit at 3 p.m. today, Sunday (members and VIPs can preview auction items from 2 p.m to 3 p.m.). Advance bids on original artwork by more than 150 artists—many of them from Northeast L.A.—ended Thursday; the real action is now just hours away.

It’s the Center’s biggest fund-raising event. As you’d expect, there are some spectacular works for sale—and some fierce bidding is to be expected. The good news is there are some real bargains to be had.

Take a sneak peek in our photo gallery at some of the artwork as it will look today and then click here to preview all the items up for auction as well as the artists behind them.
