Moms, Dads and Miniature Rockers:
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 6, when Eagle Rock will be hosting the 14th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival, the neighborhood's biggest community party of the year.
Those of you who have gone several years in a row probably have your routine down—hit a couple of stages, take in a few of bands, duck into Swork for an espresso and a breather, and head back out to sup at one of the amazing food trucks and dance into the night.
But here’s the perennial festival question I’ve been hearing again this year: What about families with kids, especially given that the festival appears to be getting bigger every year?
While Eagle Rock Patch posted a slew of suggestions for toddler-through-pre-teenage fun for last year's festival, we thought we'd put the question out to all of you in the community again:
What's your favorite way of engaging with and enjoying the music festival with your kids? What did you love doing last year? And what must you check out this year?
Even if you don't want to take a class on Saturday, we hope you stop by and introduce yourself!
See you all at the festival! Stop by and say hi to me at the CFAER booth on Caspar and Colorado. -Meagan
