Eagle Rock's Reach Our Community Kids (ROCK) gives kids, some of them who need more guidance than they've been getting at home or school, a safe place after school, both for tutoring and for expressing themselves creatively.
Every second Wednesday of the month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., ROCK President Stephen T. Kia hosts an open mic, where teens, most of them from , can practice their self expression with a captive audience of their peers.
