PHOTOS: Something Special to Look for on Your Commute

Reader Mary Vogt got these snaps on Monday of Echo Park's Shepard Fairey and his crew putting up a new mural in Silver Lake.

If you commute into Hollywood through Silver Lake on busy Hyperion Avenue, here's something that might catch your eye.

Shepard Fairey, who has been spotted on site throwing up his new anti-war mural there.

Work began Monday outside Baller Art Ware on Hyperion Avenue and Tracy Street.

These photos, sent by Mary Vogt, show Fairey with his sleeves rolled up and then some.

Work is expected to continue through Wednesday on the piece, which we wonder if taggers will appreciate.
