What Business Would You Like to See in This Empty Storefront?

Tapestry, an eclectic artisan products store on Colorado, closed nearly two months ago and has yet to find a successor.

In the last week of March, a somewhat obscure but interesting Colorado Boulevard store called Tapestry closed its doors, no more than eights months after it opened, replacing Photo Shoppe, Eagle Rock's only full-fledged photography store and one of the neighborhood's longest-running small businesses, which succumbed to the relentless demands of digital technology.

According to Warren Calonzo, a property dealer for UniPrime Inc., Tapestry shut down because it was behind in paying its rent—and the space on 2036 Colorado Blvd. is now again in the market for roughly $2.20 to $2.50 per square foot.
