Wonderful new (York) restaurant

One more great place on (new) York Blvd.  It used to be, for over 40 years, Elsa's Bakery on the south side of the corner of 51st and York.

Now Edmundo Rodriguez, a former school principal, has made a little restaurant serving delicious and well priced dishes.  His mother once ran four restaurants and insisted on no changes to her families recipes.

And check out the Espresso machine, hand made by a Mr. Orozco, I think.

We had huevos rancheros, chile quilles and great coffee, with  an apple pastry kicker (they have great pastries, too)
