Photo of the Day: The Bane of Palms
High winds along tree-lined Maywood Avenue, near Eagle Rock City Hall, sent some palm fronds flying onto the street.
At around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a portion of Maywood Avenue near the north side of Colorado Boulevard was littered with wind-swept fronds that fell from palm trees lining the street. Nobody seemed to be hurt, nor any property damaged—fortunately.
