North Figueroa Street from Colorado Boulevard to the city limits at Scholl Canyon Road will be closed for roadwork this coming weekend, as will the SR-134 Ventura Freeway on and off ramps.
According to Nate Hayward, field deputy for Council District 14, the closures are scheduled to take place between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10.
Parking will also be prohibited in those areas during work hours.
A Bureau of Street Services press release states that the work will comprise removing the roadway's existing layer of asphalt and resurfacing.
