Conductor Sonia Marie De Léon de Vega and the Santa Cecilia Orchestra (SCO) return to Occidental College with “Triumph,” a spectacular opening night concert of SCO’s 20th season on Sunday November 18, at Thorne Hall. Triumph will include Robert Thies, pianist, who will demonstrate his virtuosity and brilliance in a performance of Beethoven’s grandest piano concerto.

Santa Cecilia Orchestra has taken great pride in presenting a Brahms Symphony countdown beginning in 2009 with Symphony No. 4. This year hear the grandest of them all - the profound and mighty First Symphony of Brahms, which he composed over the course of 21 years.

Tickets for the 4:00 pm concert are on sale for 26/$20 and $7 (children) and available by calling (323) 259-3011 or visiting www.scorchestra.org/201011orderform.html#triumphsingleticket. A complete season schedule is available at www.scorchestra.org/concerts.html.
