My Earth Canvas ~

Calling all early adopters!  Please come help define and hone the My Earth Canvas workshop (see overview below), designed to help YOU re-discover your place in Nature by creating your own Earth Canvas.  While an exchange of $47 will be requested for full the three-hour experience, early adopter cay enjoy this test-the-waters experience for just $22.  Reduce the amount to just $15 if you walk, bike ride or carpool to the event. Crafty kids ages 8 and up are welcome to join for just $5.

RSVP for this "early adopter" event by 9/20/2013 is REQUIRED.  Contact Cheryl Leutjen at cheryl@cherylleutjen.com or call 818-398-4995 for specific location and to RSVP.

We Americans spend nearly 90% of our time indoors, walling ourselves off from our own larger Web of Life, our community of trees, squirrels, birds, stones, flowers and even the Sun. How much of our serenity and well-being has been given up simply by closing ourselves off from the natural world? How differently might we live if we were not so disconnected?

Although we may not always think of a pile of leaves or a fallen feather as a gift, Nature gives of herself abundantly when we open our eyes and hearts to receive and appreciate. Let's get creative with her gifts and to create an "Earth Canvas." The process of creating it just might reconnect you with your true abundant nature and Well-Being.

We will engage in a guided meditation under  a shade tree and then begin creating an Earth Canvas, assembling and arranging your Gifts from Nature on a canvas or board of your choosing (bring your own or choose from one provided here).  Begin NOW by collecting pine needles, shells, feathers, acorns and anything else that captures your imagination.  Glue guns and a selection of more Gifts from Nature will be available as well.  Organic and juicy snacks will also be provided.
