Time to think about placing a bait car or two to weed out a few culprits.

I've been doing research on the crime situation here in Eagle Rock for some time now. Before I started attending the Neighborhood Watch meetings almost 3 years ago I didn't know there was any crime in Eagle Rock at all. Sure there's some graffiti around and the occasional bank robbery but it was truly a wake-up call when I was shown the actual statistics by Officer Orange. We seem to have a lot of people stealing our stuff! I like to graph the LAPD's crime data because it gives me a better visual understanding. I've also graphed the Increase in crime after the Federal government shut down the medical marijuana collectives last September. . You can see that graphed data here: http://www.ccuwc.org/no-crime-around-collectives.html

Got another break in last night in Eagle Rock, Banging woke me out of my sleep then I heard a rattle like a piece of Iron hitting the pavement a few seconds later I see 2 suspects running with hooded sweatshirts running. Called LAPD but I guess it was to late, I heard the chopper hovering and a couple of black & whites showed up. This Morning I found out it was my neighbors car which was broken into, this is getting old in Eagle Rock.

Theres always been crime.I've lived in Eagle Rock and Highland Park for over 30 yrs..when i lived in ER in the 90's(and my hubby almost all his life untill last year) there were all sorts of gangs from Ave's,glassel park HP and especially philipino gangs for sure and more.It was just quiet not public so it has always been there as for the " medical mariguana" patients, it's not them. Only the dumb a***s out there. But in the end it going to get worse i bet on it because of no jobs so ppl are dessperate..As for LAPD you will not ever know whats is going on in the "crime world" unless you buy a police radio....
