Suspect's car hit a tree on Alumni Avenue and Avenue 46.

LAPD officers arrested an adult male after a freeway chase that began in the Rampart Division and ended in Eagle Rock after the suspect’s vehicle collided against a tree Friday evening.

Several units from the Northeast Community Station joined the pursuit, along with a police helicopter, on the northbound 2 freeway near Glendale Boulevard at about 8:10 p.m., Sgt. Wayne Guillary, the Northeast watch commander, told Patch.
