The Coroner's Office today identified a 22-year-old man shot to death in Lincoln Heights.

He was Irving Serrano of Los Angeles, said Coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz.

The shooting was reported just before 1 p.m. Monday in the 3600 block of Pasadena Avenue, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section. Serrano was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

No suspect information was immediately available and it was unclear whether the shooting was gang-related, Madison said.

Serrano was gunned down in the doorway of a plumbing business where he worked at the corner of Pasadena Avenue and Avenue 37, CBS2 reported.
