Does anyone know why there is a loud Police Helicopter and louder sirens all over Eagle Rock? What type of incident calls for this type of presence from the LAPD?

Nelson—the LAPD is looking for a shooting suspect. I'm on the phone trying to get a hold of the Northeast Police watch commander to get details.

For all the attention the medical marijuana dispensaries get, it doesn't seem like you can hang crime on them. Car thedts and home burglaries are a serious problem in Eagle Rock-especially in the business district by ER Blvd. And York. ERNC should be raffling off lojacks and web cams to thwart these economic crimes that hurt business and quality of life.
