LAFD Responds to Tree Fire (Photos)

The flames caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to adjacent structures, according to fire authorities.

Two Cypress trees were engulfed in flames at 8:30 a.m. Monday. They spread to a nearby garage and roof, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage, according to LAFD battalion chief Jack Wise. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
