Gold Line Stabbing Suspect to be Arraigned

José Paul Vasquez Flores of Los Angeles faces an attempted murder charge after allegedly stabbing a Monrovia resident on the Metro Gold Line Friday evening. Flores is expected in court Thursday afternoon.

José Paul Vasquez Flores, the 36-year-old Los Angeles man accused of during a fight on the Metro Gold Line, is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon at the Pasadena Courthouse. He faces the charge of attempted murder as well as a life sentence if convicted, according to officials from the District Attorney's office.

The victim is still hospitalized.
