The LAPD Rampart Division's Facebook page reports there was a robbery Tuesday morning at 11:35 a.m. at a medical marijuana dispensary at 1330 W. Olympic Blvd.
The page reports that a security guard was shot at the facility, "Nature's Wonder," near Downtown. The guard was reportedly not critically injured.
According to the Facebook page, several men walked into the dispensary and pointed a gun at the guard and an employee. The men stole several items and fled.
No motive was given.
In March 2011, two armed youths robbed Eagle Rock Herbal Collective, one of the 15 medical marijuana dispensaries in Eagle Rock. The alleged robbers, who were subsequently arrested, turned out to be regular customers of the marijuana facility, according to LAPD Senior Lead Officer Craig Orange.
