UPDATE: Police Looking for 2 Men Who Robbed Medical Pot Shop at Gunpoint

The young suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash and medical marijuana from the Eagle Rock Herbal Collective yesterday.

LAPD detectives have confirmed that one of the 10 medical marijuana dispensaries in Eagle Rock was robbed at gunpoint yesterday—and that two male suspects in their early 20s fled the premises with cash and marijuana.

There were at least six people inside the dispensary, called , when the robbers arrived at about 1 p.m. on March 15, brandishing two handguns, Detective Martha Ramos of the Northeast Division Community Police Station said. The suspects, approximately 6 feet tall, seized whatever cash there was in the cash register, as well an undetermined amount of marijuana, and ran out while the employees and others present in the store remained huddled inside, Ramos said. An employee called police, and two police units as well as an unmarked car with detectives responded to the scene of the crime within about 10 minutes, Ramos added.

An investigation is underway, and “we’re following up on clues that come in,” Ramos said. No suspects have yet been identified.
