I wish Nelson Grande, Tim Ryder and Erykha Grande well in ERNC elections, and thank them for their efforts to represent the entire community.

Ah, yes, the "Green Slate of community garden advocates and pro-medical marijuana activists...forming to end the neo-prohibitionist stance of the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council" You can read about their goals and efforts here: http://www.jejprint.com/blvdsentinel/#/18/

Michael—isn't the deadline Thursday, Sept. 13, exactly 30 days before the elections?
Duff Strong September 11, 2012 at 12:14 AM
Sorry Mike. You already got your ass handed to you TWICE by him. Regardless of what you think you're accomplishing, you know he's right about finding solutions. Your attempts to make him look bad have failed miserably. Just give it up and admit he's a better President you'll ever be.
Duff Strong September 11, 2012 at 12:20 AM
Yo.
Michael Larsen September 11, 2012 at 01:32 AM
I'm not trying to make anyone look bad Mr. Duff. I just want to make sure everyone knows who's running, what they stand for, and try to encourage more candidates to run so people have a choice. That's Democracy, right!?
Michael Larsen September 11, 2012 at 02:39 AM
You're absolutely right Ajay! Thanks for catching that. Deadline is Thursday - Not Wednesday - Sept 13. Having choices in an election like this is important. If you ever thought you might like to serve the neighborhood on the council, NOW IS THE TIME!
Duff Strong September 11, 2012 at 05:20 PM
You're yesterday's news and you can't handle it.
Erykah Grande September 12, 2012 at 06:53 PM
Thanks, Ajay.

@EagleRockMom, members must attend the monthly board meetings (usually the 1st Tuesday of the month); be familiar with: Robert's Rules, The Brown Act, The ERNC Bylaws, and take and pass the City Ethics Training; beyond that, the sky's the limit.
Erykah Grande September 13, 2012 at 07:25 AM
What of the current people? Who's staying and who's going? Shouldn't they be running too, to stay, that is?
EagleRockMom September 13, 2012 at 12:33 PM
@Mr. Larsen What are the sub-districts? I am not sure which I live in.
Michael Larsen September 13, 2012 at 01:53 PM

See you on the slate, then, EagleRockMom! How exciting! :D
EagleRockMom September 14, 2012 at 05:18 AM
@Erykah How presumptuous.
Erykah Grande September 14, 2012 at 05:07 PM
Thank you. :)
Sarah Bucolic September 21, 2012 at 05:17 PM
Robert Guevara for President! He's an experienced lawyer and educator. He is very well versed in the laws and policies and doesn't just focus on one issue. In order to be a good President you need to be able to cover all bases and not just concentrate on one issue alone.
Sarah Bucolic September 21, 2012 at 05:19 PM
Oh and not to mention Robert Guevara seems to be the only one from the ERNC who has shown up at almost every single community event so far.
