California High-Speed Rail Presentation

As Gov. Jerry Brown pushes ahead with the California High-Speed Authority’s voter-approved plans to link our major cities by bullet-trains, a local group invites readers to a public lecture about what happens to be one of the most ambitious infrastructure plans anywhere in the nation.

On Wednesday, Jan. 18, the Eagle Rock Community Preservation & Revitalization Corporation (ERCPR) will host a presentation by a speaker from the outreach team of the rail project’s section between Palmdale and Los Angeles.

The presentation, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at , will outline the basics of the multi-billion-dollar California High-Speed Rail Authority’s new business plan, which is the blueprint for how the project will be accomplished—once it procures major environmental reviews, complex permits, land purchases along the route and legislative approval.
