Workers Install New Water Main
DWP workers resume work on the installation of a new water pipe under Colorado Boulevard, from Maywood Avenue to Loleta.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power workers resumed the installation this past week of a new 16-inch ductile iron water main along Colorado Boulevard, east of the Eagle Rock Boulevard crossing.
The work, which began July 17 at nighttime, is now progressing during the day and will take about another month to finish. It is aimed at improving the flow capacity of water in the area stretching from Maywood Avenue to Loleta Avenue.
