Veterans’ Day Parade Showcases Eagle Rock Centennial (Photos)

Northeast L.A.'s Sixth Annual Veterans’ Day Parade turns out to be yet another colorful celebration.

The Sixth Annual Northeast Los Angeles Veterans’ Day Parade on Sunday was a particularly special occasion for Eagle Rock—

As some of the photos here show, several contingents in the parade had a centennial theme.

Organized by the office of , the parade began at 1 p.m. from the Glassell Park Recreation Center and culminated at . A large number of vintage cars as well as an attractive float that showcased Eagle Rock’s 100th anniversary this year were some of the parade's highlights.

I wish I would have known this parade was happening. We would have attended. Hopefully next year.
