Parking Ticket Spectacle on Shearin Avenue

It's not every day that you see tickets on an entire row of cars.

Most regular customers of the Coffee Table tend to be well aware that parking on Shearin Avenue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays is to invite the wrath of parking enforcement personnel.

But even at the worst of times, it's unusual to see parking tickets on the windshields of seven cars in a row, as was the case this Thursday, April 25.

Part of the explanation may be that three of the cars had out of state license plates—one each from Vermont, New York and Massachusetts.
