PHOTOS: Kingmakers of Eagle Rock on Election Day

Residents flock to voting booths, many of them in high spirits.

There were no lines outside polling booths in Eagle Rock—not until noon anyhow—but voting was brisk Tuesday as residents walked or drove to cast their votes. Many Eagle Rockers said they voted to re-elect President Obama, but at least one couple proudly declared they were going to vote for Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Curiously, many voters declined to say who they voted for in the senate, congressional and state assembly races—as if the man who would be king was all they were really interested in.
