LAUSD Superintendent John Deasey, LAUSD Board Member Bennett Kayser and Council Member José Huizar gave rousing speeches Wednesday at the Eagle Rock High School Class of 2012 graduation ceremony, which was held at the Remsen Bird Hillside Theater at Occidental College. Among half-a-dozen seniors who also spoke at the crowded event were Valedictorian Jasmine Fernandez and Salutatorian Elisha Marquez.
