PHOTOS: Eagles Trounce Lincoln at Homecoming Game

An elaborate homecoming ceremony highlights the traditional game under lights.

As a standing room only crowd watched, the Eagle Rock High School football varsity team walloped the visiting Lincoln Tigers 42-14 after a sluggish first half Friday night.

Prior to the game's start at the ERHS football field, a parade with classic cars containing the queen, king and their courts, followed by grand marshals (ERHS Hall of Fame inductees) rode around the track—a prelude to an elaborate crowning ceremony.

To the accolades of alumni and parents in attendance, Kimberly Alvarado was named queen for 2012, accompanied by king Joey Artega.
