Hey, What Happened to the ‘BMX Dirt Track’ Next to Super A?

It’s known variously as the Inner City Pump Track, the BMX Dirt Track—or just that empty lot across the street from Super A Foods on Yosemite Drive where people would ride their motorcycles on weekends.

About two weeks ago, many nearby residents were flummoxed to see that the entire lot had been leveled and barricaded.

Wondering what happened?

The most plausible explanation is that the owner of the lot reclaimed it, according to Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce President Michael Nogueira, who owns Sir Michael’s Party Rentals on Eagle Rock Boulevard, a few blocks south of the area.
