Pet Adoption at Eagle Rock Plaza Sunday Afternoon

The Pasadena Humane Society's "shelter on wheels" will offer a selection of dogs and cats starting at 2 p.m.

The mobile outreach unit of the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA—a 33-foot “shelter on wheels”—will be at the Sunday starting at 2 p.m. for a pet adoption fair.

The event coincides with National Dog Day, which is celebrated every year on Aug. 26.

The pet motor home is well-known for making available in shopping centers and at events and festivals a wide selection of adoptable dogs and cats.

The outreach unit, run by volunteers, also offers information about the humane society and SPCA’s spay and neuter services as well as information about local wildlife and other programs and services.
