A dog's best friend

Sometimes on my walks, the ordinary IS compelling enough to photograph. Actually, that's the case more often than not. That's especially true in artistic communities such as San Francisco and Carlsbad. And Eagle Rock. Slowly, over the years, I've complied a catalog of sorts. Here's a couple of examples for ya. The bright yellow one with the "urban grunge" look, well, that's just around the corner from my house. It's in much more pristine condition than the picture indicates, but the Photoshop treatment I applied is what I had in mind when I took the picture.
