<p>This is the Eagle Rock branch of the Los Angeles Public Library system. Called Eagle Rock Library, it offers books, videos, CDs, audio books and a range of newspapers and periodicals for children, young adults and adults.</p>
<p>The library has a large collection of children's books and is a popular place for children to do their homework or read a book after school. The original Eagle Rock Library opened in 1915 and was housed in the building where the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock, is now based on Colorado Boulevard, a short walk from Caspar Avenue. The current library opened in 1981.</p>
