Located south of the 134 freeway and Figueroa Street, this attractive park and recreation center has two football fields, three baseball diamonds, several tennis courts, an indoor gymnasium, two picnic areas and barbecues, a children's play area, and an auditorium. The facility also offers a preschool camp for children aged 3 through 5 years, an after-school club, karate classes for children and adults, free gymnastics for children aged 5 through 12 years, and music classes for infants. In addition, the recreation center organizes a summer camp every year for children aged 5 through 12 years. There is a full-fledged childcare center within the park as well as special events for seniors, who meet at the recreation center every Tuesday from 10am to noon.
