Women's Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock
323-478-1883
Women's Twentieth Century Club was established in 1903 with the mission statement: "To maintain and conduct a cultural club and to promote the general welfare of the community." The club has a history of activism and in 1910 petitioned for women's suffrage in California. Over the years, it has been active in promoting women's rights and philanthropic ventures, including establishing scholarships for female students and nurses and maintaining a clinic.
The organization participates in fundraisers serving the community and permits rental of the facility throughout the year. The grounds are beautiful and the building is representative of the area's architectural history. In 1991, the clubhouse was declared a Los Angeles Cultural Monument.
