Please everyone boycott this circus. Let them see that there is no place forRead More "entertainment" that is based on the suffering of these magnificent creatures - or any animal.

People who object to animal cruelty will not attend this circus or any other that uses abused animalRead More acts & calls them entertainment. Taking children to see abused animal acts teaches them it is acceptable human behavior. The only hope to eliminate the use & abuse of tortured animals in the circus is to tell children the truth & teach them that it is wrong. Children naturally love animals & they will understand

They claim on the one hand that the animals are well-treated, then turn around and say that theyRead More won't be able to bring them anymore once the ban on bull hooks, "goads and prods" goes into effect? I have seen the wounds caused by bull hooks from close up- people sitting in the audience can't, but if they were able to, they would feel sorry for the way the poor animals are treated. Many dogs like the mental exercises of training and working with a human, so I don't argue against canine performers, but elephants and tigers?? Come on, I thought we had long ago advanced beyond that nonsense!

The homosexual, Grammy affront and homosexual Rose Parade wedding float are victory dances, but notRead More to what just appears on the surface – homosexual marriage. They actually celebrate something far more profound, and that is the defeat of Christian democracy (Rule by the Christian majority) and its replacement by God hating, Bolshevism (Rule by an anti-Christian minority). They might as well have put a big finger up at the Grammys and on the back of that float with the caption: “Take this you Christians !!!” This is the culmination of a Fabian, (Incremental) Marxist revolution which, over the years, has taken over the Federal government and most State and local governments. The laws of the land have become hostile to the Christian vote, morals, values, beliefs, conscience, holy days, prayers in public, the Christian Bible and even Christianity’s God. But they have become pro-everything that is abhorrent to Christians, such as atheism, pornography, sex perversion of all kinds, killing babies, euthanasia and a government that rules by executive order and judicial oligarchy. The remarkable thing is that all of these changes in government have taken place while Christians are still the Majority in the population. But not to worry, soon Jesus will STRAIGHTEN everything out.

I wish they would of closed down the blvd near the center for the arts... do any bands even playRead More there?
John Carlucci September 20, 2013 at 02:56 pm
@ Liza, I commented on this earlier, but they took my post down. I've been saying this since lastRead More year... Bands?? Not local Bands. He says right in the article that they were "pushing the programming" to book acts that could fill stadiums. Yet they still took application fees from local bands that they never intended to book. THATS how they support local music. It turned into the Silverlake Street Festival. People that don't live here came here to party, people that don't live here came to perform, there was money to be made, but the locals like you & lost revenue due to closed streets, tons of traffic & no Parking. I find it quite amusing that they post this article, ask right in the article what the reaction has been, then when I post my reaction, they take it down.

It was real privilege to work with this team.
